This year the IV Moscow Festival “Retro-Style” was held in a new, unusual format together with the Moscow City Golf Club situated at the address: 1, Dovzhenko Street (9 holes, 33 pairs, president – Igor Malyshkov). “Retro-Style” was initially intended to be a traditional Moscow festival of old cars having remained their original appearance and being in the working condition to present day.

The III Moscow Festival “Retro-Style” started on Saturday, June 19 with the motor race in the historical center of Moscow. The column was headed by the black “З�С 110” with Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov at the wheel and his wife Elena Baturina as a navigator.
On June 20 more that 10 000 guests visited the exhibition of the festival where more than 70 old timers were displayed. Guests of the festival had to choose a winner in nomination “Spectators sympathy award”. For the first time the program of the festival included a specially organized retro-rally which route led to the south-west of Moscow.

On June 28-29 the festival “Retro-Style” was held in Moscow: an exhibition of unique rarity cars, many of which exist in Russia as the only specimen. On June 29 fourteen retro-cars took part in the exhibition which took place near sports complex “Luzhniki”.
The first day of the festival was marked with the race of retro cars in the historical center of the city. The race was headed by Yuri Luzhkov driving “З�С-110 кабрио”. A certain piquancy was imparted to the situation by the fact that the car produced in 1950 used to be a personal car of Nikita Chruschev.

The first festival of old cars “Retro-Style” was held in Moscow in summer 2002. More than twenty old cars with magnificent design, perfect specifications and in an excellent working condition defiled on the Moskva-river embankment. The youngest of these cars was limousine Daimler Majestic produced in 1963.
