The III Moscow Festival “Retro-Style” was held on June 19-20 in Luzhniki. The main subject of the festival was collection of unique rarity cars (many of them exist in Russia as the only specimen). A competition in ten nominations was held in the context of the festival, including the contest for the most elegant car and carriage, and the contest for the spectators’ sympathy prize.
This year’s festival started on Saturday, June 19 with the race in the historical center of Moscow. The column was headed by the black “З�С 110” with Mayor of Moscow Yuri Luzhkov at the wheel and his wife Elena Baturina as a navigator.
On June 20 more than 10 000 guests visited the exhibition of the festival where more than 70 old timers were displayed. Guests of the festival had to choose a winner in nomination “Spectators’ sympathy prize”. For the first time the program of the festival included a specially organized retro-rally which route led to the south-west of Moscow.
On the evening of the same day there was a traditional solemn ceremony of winners’ rewarding with participation of Russian variety stars.

I place: Mercedes Benz 190 SL 1958 year of manufacture (driver – Sorokin Ilia, navigator – Ushanov Sergei); 464 points
II place: Mercedes Benz 190 SL 1956 year of manufacture (driver – Bychkov Dmitri, navigator – Saukova Natalia); 744 points
III place: Jaguar XKE 1964 year of manufacture (driver – Smirnov Alexander, navigator – Smirniva Oksana); 1162 points.
